Since a week ago, we have been receiving important DDoS attacks through Francfurt, and Strasbourg VAC2 has been taking care of those attacks.
We have a software bug on the 2 SBG routers (ASR9K) on the prod version. These DDoS are blocking the cards and some of them are restarting.
The router is in an older version 4.2.1 and we will update the latest version to avoid the bug during the DDoS attacks.
We will exceptionally carry out this operation at day time. The emergency forces us to fix this bug as soon as possible. During maintenance traffic will flow on the 2nd
router. We will update sbg-g1-a9 et sbg-g2-a9 as well.Update(s): Date: 2016-09-20 14:49:36 UTC

We have just put into production two new routers
NSC5508 that will eventually replace ASR9K. For
now, we are using them to unload the ASR9K
on outgoing traffic. Incoming traffic still passes
