Completed
As part of the construction of the new bridge over the Rhine for the tramway linking Strasbourg to Kehl, works of rerouting the optical fibers are in progress in the port of Strasbourg.
A stack of future bridge located exactly at the location of one of our sheath, we had to deviate a cable on a new path.
The operation to switch on the new cable will take place the night of April 16th to 17th after midnight and for a period of about 2 hours. Meanwhile, our two fiber paths to Frankfurt will be impacted and therefore the traffic will flow through Paris only.
Works will be performed on a few hundred meters which are still common for both paths. We are currently working on diversification of these paths.

A strand of the pair of fibre optics was broken. The 2 strands of the pair have been welded. The link is back up.

Path A has been reset and all circuits are up. However, there's an issue with the welding on the 2nd tube of the cable and path B is still down.

Works will begin on our cable at around 02:30. The SBG > Frankfurt 10G circuits should not be affected for more than 2 hours.

Works have started on the Interoute cable and a SBG > Frankfurt pathway is down. The circuits switched onto the protection. At midnight, the maintenance will begin on our cable on the part common to the 2 pathways, and the traffic will flow via Paris.
