For four days the Cisco Tac has been troubleshooting a problem is occurring on the new vrack which results no log entry on the router when a change is made. This created instabilities in our robots (scripts could not verify if the configuration was good).
Last night the TAC found the problem:
The standby card was incorrectly programmed and and had a limit of 2048 bridge-domains (this is due to a reboot of the rsp standby in January when Trident cards were still present in the chassis).
Last night we rebooted the standby card to correct the problem.
Following this reboot, the standby RSP no longer resynchronized, we left the card in ROMMON during the night not to stress the active RSP.
