ERDF will start the maintenance on one of the two substations which supply our Roubaix datacenters (RBX1+RBX3 then RBX2+RBX5).
During these works, our electrical supply will pass by N+2 (principal EDF, rescue EDF, generators) to N+1 (rescue EDF, generators):
- The RBX1 delivery station will be replaced by ERDF to its rescue and the main arrival will be returnable.
- The RBX2 delivery station will have the returnable rescue (no replacement, just a voltage absence \"rescue\")
Works are expected on Thursday 16th August at 07:30am until Friday 17th August at 05:00pm (with a back to normal during night).
In case the EDF fails, the generators will ensure the redundancy.
Update(s):
Date: 2012-08-16 13:58:27 UTC ERDF cancelled its workings of tomorrow because of a crash this morning.
They are asking us to go back to a normal scheme now with their technician on the spot.
Date: 2012-08-16 11:26:23 UTC The interruption that we had is due to a default on ERDF.
They are trying to localize it.
From our side we are back on the EDF spare cable and the groups
are available in case of interruption. Being on the spare cable
we will not be impacted by the search of defaults that ERDF engaged on the NORMAL.
Date: 2012-08-16 11:25:03 UTC We have just been switched to the spare ERDF but with an interruption... unlike what was expected.
So we are now on electrogen groups.
We are going to be back on EDF (so on the spare cable)
